Just another "boring" Conquest.... - but.... - wearing it daily since a week or so - must say the haptics, the weight, the solidity and the wearing comfort is really outstanding. Normally the 1930s/40s Longines are "mine", but this old Conquest is really impressive for me and I like it much 😁

Originally, the serial number 5'51X'XXX identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel bearing the reference 4870 and order number 1597. It is fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 12.68Z and was invoiced on 23 November 1937 to the company Kohn, which was at that time the Longines agent in Prague.

Untouched, everything original, simply iconic.

Something quite special and a little bit mysterious today: Error Prof dial form, Radium, pretty rare.

The original serial number 6'83X'XXX identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel bearing the reference 5482 and order number 22898. It is fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 10.68N and was invoiced on 26 April 1946 to the company Eloy Sequeira, which was at that time the Longines agent for Portuguese India.
