1904 trench watch conversion. If you look back a the first page of this thread, you’ll see this watch with a non-branded black numeral dial of similar style. Had it changed to this one at recent service.

Running great for a 122 year old movement.

Royal Navy joint operations commando Pacific Theater gold WW2 Tombstone and issued WW2 6B/321 strap. Gold is only issued to Royal Navy. Red is common to all others.

Longines Radium C.O.S.D. Big Crown all correct and never reassembled, does not get anymore perfect?

Exactly! Number 137... I only found three more on the internet, and number 77 has the mechanism exactly 60 below mine. The other two have the wrong number mechanisms. Apparently mine and 77 are correct.

Fascinating! Other than the brief lorologiese article, I’ve seen very little documentation on these. He claims they were a Luftwaffe order, but I’d love to see more corroborating that story. Certainly an interesting and rare variant.

Czechoslovakian pilots Longines with actual Spink & Son London made WW2 pilots badge used in Battle of Britain specifically for Czechoslovak RAF pilots.

Update: If you aren't sure, the one on the right is a Czechoslovak Army Airforce Issued Longines. The left one is a civilian Czechoslovak Longines. Both are 1935.

This quartz Lilienthal Berlin watch keeps popping up on my Instagram thread and, although I have no intention of buying one, I like the clean, classic style ….

…, but, I have to remind myself that I actually have this ….

Just about to see a musician with my new Longines Conquest Heritage on.

Update: Oops, this is a vintage thread. The watch is based off of a 1950s model at least.,
