The more of those archive extracts we have, the better - particularly to pin down transition dates between the model references, such as the 7951 and 8301. It’s unfortunate that Longines now charge a not inconsiderable sum for these (they were free in the past). I have quite a few Ultra-Chrons, and can’t really justify getting extracts for all of them! I wonder if I could persuade them to give me a bulk discount.. 😉

It looks great. Is it on a Longines bracelet? It goes really well with it

Thanks! It is a Longines bracelet, I haven’t researched it tbh, but can have look for any identifying marks on it. Bonus pic of the dial outside.

How many of those 5 star Admirals with that case style do you have? Curious!

😁😁
Two black dials with a red border,
One white dial,
One white dial with a red border,
One blue dial

….,, I’m obviously addicted ….

Here is a Tre Tacche from WW2 era with 23M movement I picked up recently. Was drawn to the watch by the inscription on the case back. H.Y.W FROM RAAF-ME 1943. One springbar has been replaced with a fixed bar which I have seen on a few watches of this era

I’m genuinely impressed with the quality of vintage Longines dials, this beauty is a 1966 watch with a calibre 280 manual movement

Just in, this beautiful Longines with the cal 994. From what info I gathered, its reference number should be 4873
