Current bid of 475 euros is higher than I'd recommend spending on this watch, personally.

Keep in mind, it's also 33 mm, so will wear fairly small.

While most of the dial looks fine, that "Seamaster" text sure is wonky.

... and I totally agree with @TheGreekPhysique

Isn't the question what YOU are willing to spend? I think it looks nice and the movement seems ok. S, E and R in Seamaster don't look right to me but if you can live with that...

Despite what the seller says, that dial is not original and has been repainted.

Op,

Best to study and contribute to the Forum, not do an end run around Forum Rules with this WTB listing.

But…… you may always PM sellers till you get to the Magic Number.

welcome

study the threads here on all original Seamasters there are plenty to read through.

This is quite the invitation for the sharks around here to try their luck. Not just against forum rules, but also not the safest way to approach this, I'd say.

If you don't want to put in the effort (here or generally on the hunt) and you're lacking the patience of potentially waiting a couple of months, may I suggest the dealer option, let's say buying from the omega enthusiast? It'll certainly be very nice, original pieces in great mechanical condition. You'll be paying a hefty premium, of course, but you can't have it all - finding a very nice piece in a short amount of time for a low price, that'll be rather unlikely.

Yes you either pay €£$ or pay with your own time. Maybe i do the first its not for me. I can always ask you found some nice dealer prob the piece would go for 600€ but at least i have garanties. Edit: https://chrono24.app/omega/geneve-s...769--id24773314.htm?SETLANG=en_SK&SETCURR=EUR 166.002 really noice 565 serviced + warranty.

I wouldn't bid any higher on that particular watch. Entry-level piece, small and polished. I'm not have any trouble these days finding nice examples of Seamasters in the $400-$600 range, often with bracelets.

Pay with time and effort or pay with money for someone else’s time and effort.

Positioning of OMEGA is off too.

Agree, the seller is a naughty fibber (and not just on this item).
