Looking for some decent Chelsea Boots that will last 5 years. Any advice?

Not sure if these count as strict Chelsea boots but today I’m wearing Trickers ‘Henry’.

At the office I wear Bates leather low quarters…the same as what I wore in the USN in the 1980s and 1990s. I take pride in having the shiniest shoes at the office…BUT…on my last office rotation I met my match. I got into a “shoe shine war” with the other pilot…I’ll call him “The Warrant” since he’s a former USA Warrant Officer who flew UH-1s [and then transitioned to the USAF to fly F-111s]. Anyway, “The Warrant” shows up at the office with freaking glass boots…spit shined to infinity and beyond. WTFO? I was pretty upset…and I got to work during our long layovers to attempt to beat “The Warrant” at the “shoe shine war” that had commenced. No joy…my spit shining attempts failed miserably…I had forgotten how to do it correctly…and I lost the “shoe shine war”.

“The Warrant’s” freaking glass boots [top of pic below]…Mad Dog’s loser shine Bates leather low quarters [bottom of pic below]…

I think you'd have won except for that bit of dullness on the right toe.

That's ok. You're still our Mad Dog.

That pic doesn’t show just how “freaking glassy” his boots really are…they were insane. The flight attendants said to him, “OMG…your boots are so super awesome…OMG!” And then when I asked them about my Bates they said, “They look sort of OK…they’re not dirty or anything.” WTFO? I had spent hours the night before spit shining them…and I didn’t go to Dunkin’ or 7-ELEVEN or Hooters during the layover! I lost the “shoe shine war”!

I wear Eccos. When I switched from Sketchers to Eccos a few years my knee, hip, and back pain almost completely vanished within a few days.

It's boot season here in the UK and these ones are made by the last work boot manufacturer in the UK. William Lennon based in the Peak District. They are comfortable and seem indestructible.

When you google Boot Season UK all that comes up is content relating to Car Boot Sales so you’ll have to explain!!

I have 6 different pairs of these allbirds - different colors in wool and eucalyptus fiber. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Not great in the shop... but on non-shop days, they are what I live in.
