Serious shine on serious boots for when serious flying is contemplated!

Mad Dog is seriously kitted out!

Yep, that he is.
But did he ride his Ninja to the cinema (or wimp it out in a Crown Vic cage 😉)

In winter I usually wear my R.M. Williams boots but right now it’s either my Sebago Docksides or Birkenstock Arizona

Rode the Honda Monkey wearing double dog Seiko automatics [6309-7049 and SRP777]…and my U.S. Navy issued flight boots which ended up getting scuffed up and rained on [sad trombone noise]…

Daily standard here in Florida…

I know it’s a chrono diver, but it’s been in a couple oceans and seas, and plenty of rivers etc. without fail. Great watch that always ends up being my play watch.

Don't really have photos of shoes around here. Here's a watch photo taken a few years back in the Bangor, Maine airport that shows a bit of a pair of Allen Edmonds Shelton saddle oxfords in the photo's edge.

Am just polishing up the pair this afternoon to wear to Mrs. BMc's 45th high school reunion dinner. Better finish up and shave.

There are several of this style saddle oxford around here in different color combinations. Some are called Shelton and some are called Polo.

All are now discontinued as far as I know. Here's a photo of this style gleaned off of Google Images.

Yes, Polo......mine are pebble grained and I have always loved this two-tone combo on mine. Bought new long ago in my post grad years. Resoled at AE twice.

I’ve been wearing these on casual Fridays, and always get a load of compliments, particularly from the women at the office…

Must be time for neighborhood throwback Beach Party.
Order of the Day: Khaki/Linen clothing, loafers and Henschel hat.
At least a few Gin/Tonics gotta die for the cause, which is a great trade!

Once a year is the limit, so these don’t get much wear.

As seen in my WRUWT post: Cole Haan knitted wingtips.
Seriously the most comfortable shoes ever. It is like wearing socks.

In the early 70's when I had 8 hole DM's, oxblood colour, I couldn't admit it to my mates but I preferred monkey boots.
I've never had Solovair but only heard good things about them
