My classic choice for winter, when simple docksides just won't do:

As of today these almost mint condition WW2 Veldshoen boots. Not bad considering they were issued in 1944!

I mostly alternate between a pair of Altras for work and LEMs for casual outside of the home events. Similar to these but a lighter shade of brown and gum sole. Mine are quite beat up now.

I built up to these minimalist shoes and thankfully have never had any issues with my feet despite being on them all day. Those LEMs are probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn.

CAT boots. Good value, great comfort, and durable. Been my working boot of choice for years.

Lucchese Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake.

I hope not to encounter these in the wild!

I haven't been back in the office since March 2020, so all my dress shoes are languishing in the closet. These days, the weather isn't great, so it's either the Heschungs, Frye GYWs, or Paraboots.

Another fan of Paraboot here!! Probably have 20 pairs at this point (mostly from the Casual and Outdoors lines, as the rubber soles are the most comfy and resistant ones), some of them dating back to the late 90s and still going strong despite the fact that they were re-soled at least twice.

Here is today’s choice:

Cole Haan

I bought these shoes for a trip to Korea in November of 2019 and have rarely wore them since because I’ve preferred slip-ons for most of the pandemic.

In Hawaii this week so it's the Longs Drugs house brand slippers. Grandma used to buy me these as a kid 😀
