Oh snap walked a quarter mile of wet ice in Herman survivors (very beat up) I wanted to see the water figured I would fall as wet ice and snow covered ice are the worse but I made it last year this area took me out x3 I had something to prove


Then came across deep fissure broke out repelling gear


Made rest of wet ice walk unscathed

What I always wear, RM Williams Craftsman boots, dressy , comfortable never out of style and last forever if looked after

 

In my late 20's or it might have been early 30's I decided life was too short for uncomfortable shoes so I ditched the traditional leather shoes and boots and transitioned to running shoes which I still do 30 years or more later.

The last 10 years has been a steady diet of Fila shoes, having tried all the other brands these (mostly) seem to last the best.

 

Some super sexy powerlifting shoes. Over 10 years old, I think.

 

I thought I'd left my velcro trainer days back in the 80's, but Nike have done a good job and I'm hooked.
