Yes, actually one word for both: Twyndyllyngs

I'll use it in a sentence and it'll make perfect sense: "Twyndyllyngs gan wahanol dadau!"

We can thank Mr. Google for that, and my ability to associate all those adjacent consonants as likely belonging to Welsh words.

Rolex - hype
Omega - underdog

Personally I don’t think it is as simple as that, but I think your opinion is representative, genuine, and important for the conversation.

Rolex - nice
Omega - poopy

Omega - nice
Rolex - poopy

Cut, paste, to applicable forum.

But the word “Struggling” did catch my attention. Did you mean, like, to catch up or overtake?
Trying too hard?
I intentionally avoid a lot of Omega’s marketing because I think it kinda obscures the history , replacing it with glam and things I don’t necessarily want to be a part of.
Struggling. Interesting word.
Almost onomatopoeia... even has a look.

A: LegroomAxe (anagram)

When the Swiss watch industry suffers financially, it’s certain that all watchmakers suffer financially to some degree. But because Rolex is privately owned we’ll never really know how much they suffered. Omega, on the other hand, is publicly owned and their suffering and struggle are a matter of public record.

In my mind “financial suffering = economic loss” and “financial struggling = actions taken to counter financial loss”.
