Just for fun I bought a selfie stick! Not that I will use it out in the wild but for some iPhone close up stuff. This one comes with a Bluetooth remote and all for about $9 AU. My iPhone 6 doesn't have image stabilisation so the remote is great. Quick practice with no regard to light/reflections etc
Basic setup with the stick in a vice to get the head lower down.

Full size shot

Clipped

Probably be really good with a later phone

Lately, I've been shooting with Fuji "kit lens" 18-55. It really is very high quality and is excellent for video (5.5 stop image stabilization).
I'm using Fuji X-T3 camera.

Hate to admit it because I hate selfie sticks, but that looks like a really good idea

I was thinking about purchasing the 60mm macro or the 45mm 1.8 for my EM-10 MKII. Do you have any recommendations? Is the 60mm versatile enough to have it as your "one-and-only" watch lens?

Hi mate, not quite. Its a little long for wristshots etc. If all you want to do is macro shots/ not have the watch on your wrist, it'll be great.
For me I actually prefer my 12-35 F2.8 for 95% of my shots. I've advised quite a few people to consider this one over a macro as it has a pretty good min focus distance. With it I cover semi macro and wider wrist shots etc. For close up work, I get the macro on 😀

I mostly use a 50mm with a +5 (?) dipoter/close-up filter on a full frame camera. Lately I have been using my wife's new Nikon d3500 with the 18-55 kit lens...

5D mkII with 50mm and closeup filter:

Shot with Takumar 85/1.8. In my opinion one of the best vintage portrait lenses. No funny bokeh. Tak 35/3.5 is also super.

After testing for a couple of months my 30mm macro from Olympus, I can say the following:
-The lens is very, very versatile. I found myself using it for wristshots, macro photography, and even landscapes!
-I paid 170€ for it, so for the price, I think it's a really good value
-The only downside I found to it is the autofocus. Sometimes when you suddenly change focus from really close to a far focus, it struggles for a bit.

That being said, I here present to you some pictures I took with it. All pictures are taken with natural light (close to a window, and difused with a curtain) and sligthly edited.
Please, enjoy.

I love the Canon 100mm
The 100mm is a great lens and I admire you lighting control - have just shifted from the Nikon D800 to the mirrorless Z6 and still experimenting.

I use Canon 100mm macro 2.8 L lens.

have you tried using your 50mm 1.8 with your lens flipped the other way? So the front of your lens will be closer to the frame and the back will be closer to the subject? apologies if this was already mentioned here but this is a v good trick to take macro photos with your prime lens

Gawd! I love this lens
Great shot I too have a 70-200 f2.8 - what was the distance between you and the subject
