What would you say is your least popular watch opinion?

I guess I have several contenders. The Speedmaster doesn’t do much for me; I’ve never seen a watch from Audemars that I like… I’m very drawn to 70s quartz pieces that many might find ugly.

But I think the strongest view is that I actually dislike the design of the
PP Nautilus. I simply do not understand the appeal (once the PP branding and the hype/valuation is stripped away.)

I'm very opinionated about all things watch, having a host of likes and dislikes about watches, watch sizes, watch shapes, watch features, but expect that exactly no one else cares about my opinions.

I think the Patek Aquanaut sucks, and I also hate the Rolex GMT-Master II because its annoying to set, as well as the Explorer II for the same reason

Now you're talkin my language! 80's and 90's quartz stuff rocks too! However the 70's mechanical and quartz stuff is particularly tacky and exciting to me 👍

yeah this is where the hobby gets really esoteric for me—there are funky 70s watches that I’d really like to own, but I’d probably never wear them.

The dials of many Patek Philippe watches, especially ones with complications such as perpetual chronographs, are a hot mess due to the mismatch of so many different fonts being used.

I find the Rolex Daytona unattractive. Have never understood why people want to pay upwards of hundreds of thousands of dollars for the old ones, and $30k for a new one.

Even I don't understand that watch or the craze/hype associated with it nowadays. May be it qualifies to some esoteric group that I don't belong to!

Dislike HE crowns on Omega dive watches.
Also dislike those skeleton hands just as much.
Chrono dive watches 🤦 just no…
And integrated bracelet only watches are my #1 pet hate.

Other than the Globemaster, I'm not a fan of the modern Constellations. And I've never understood the appeal of the Daytona. Just plain unattractive.

Oh, and another one that will not gain me many friends on OF:

I quite like the Hublot MECA-10 Ti Watch (even if I have never tried one IRL, and even if I am not going to ever purchase one). I just find it cool…

...and that Casio are far better watches than Omega's.

In a similar vein, I like the Constellation Double Eagle Mission Hills Titanium limited edition

I don't like vintage watches and gold Rolexes especially the Skydweller.
The Skydweller's bezel reminds me of the differential crown wheel and pinnions in a Leyland bus.
The Speedmaster doesn't do much for me mainly because it isn't a Seamaster 😟
