Enjoy them. 😉

fυcking hell that's a novel concept indeed. Thanks, Jersey. Lol

I do need to learn how to do this. Maybe I will start writing the watch haikus and verse I've been noodling around with.

Bring a couple of them up here and I’ll enjoy them for you. Always happy to help. 😁

My goal is to find a very nice medium (AKA Grande Taille) Reverso with sub seconds.

If all goes extremely well, then also a size 16 railroader pocket watch from Ball, Waltham or Elgin in white gold. Maybe one with 2 hour hands, and or and a power reserve indicator and…

2: An Illinois RR 60 Hour Bunn special….

A 60 hour Bunn Special would be nice too. I would want the 23j type III...

Nice to see pocket watches sensibly put on the 2023 shopping list 👍

Speedy please. A 105.012 - 66 but probably more realistically a 3572.50 / 3592.50. However, 1st daughters wedding in August so this maybe a pipe dream.

If the budget allows it:

1 - Aquastar Deep Star vintage
2 - Ollech & Wajs Early Bird vintage

Trying to have a consolidation year rather than spending and clear out some of the lesser used stuff( not just watches)
Unless of course the Tolex AD calls with the GMT I have been after for years

I am waiting for my Speedmaster Reduced coming back from Spa - full service and laser welding/case restoration. So I am looking forward to get a basically new watch back 😀

Other than that I haven‘t planned to buy a watch this year - but a (RG) Centenary is on my general list for the future.

Original Grammer of Design Grand Seiko 44GS from 1964

I believe we had one many years ago. Sold it to fellow member Achim 👍

On topic for this thread, I am specifically looking for two watches. First is a vintage 50's-60's Gubelin similar in style to this one @rkman11 sold here recently. I don't care if manual or auto, chronometer or not. Just nice size round case and clean original dial. I need a classy watch for when I hang around the private airport lounge and golf course parking lot here in St. Petersburg Florida. I want to look understated and sophisticated. Tall order for a spaccone like me.

The second watch I want to round up is a Bell&Ross Dimineur complete with bracelet for Janice. She always liked the style so it's up to me to pay.

I have reached a stage in life and I am fortunate to own many pieces so I have nothing of interest on the horizon.

A Speedmaster New Ed White, I'm on the "list" since last summer but a visit to the OB today basically crushed my dream there right away 🙁
