My uncle gave me this old Omega, which he believes is from the 50s or 60s. He got it decades ago, but he/I are unable to find any information on the model given the dial and hand combination. Any thoughts?
Your best option is to find a local watchmaker who is familiar with vintage watches, and ask them to remove the caseback to your watch.
While the watch is open, take some well-lit, nicely-focused pictures of the inside of the caseback as well as of the watch movement. Then come back to this thread and post those pictures here.
The inside caseback will have a case reference number or, if it is an early watch, a serial number. The movement will have serial number and caliber number. From that information we can tell you a bit more about your heirloom.
