Made by Louis Brandt and Freer. I Found some numbers on it. But I have never seen anything like it. I've been searching for any info for years. To no avail. Can anybody help me?
It looks like a marine chronometer, hence the gimbals and the heavy screw-in casebook. I'm guessing it comes in the wooden box pictured in the background, but most of them are adjusted to more than 2 positions
You posted this watch in August 2017. Please see the following: https://omegaforums.net/threads/antique-omega-ship-desk-cronometer.61802/ … and therefore the same comments apply. So it's not really correct to say that "I've been searching for any info for years. To no avail." Your watch is a Calibre 27’’’ and I guess dates about 1910. The Omega reference is 125.27. The movement was probably produced as an ‘automobile’ version and the gimballing and casing locally-produced later. Tom
