OF is a really sad place at times!!

Dear A I just think internet communities are just maturing - and that we understand internet is a part of the real world, it's not always a happy friendly village where every one is nicey nice with everyone else.

Yes but you can get cheap watches other places than here. If someone post a watch for auction in this forum, you don麓t get it cheap anyway, so what麓s the big deal?

OK. I didn麓t know that the function of this forum is hunting maximum profit. I thought it was serious collectors here who was able and honest enough to buy watches for real market prices, but I麓m very sorry if I just jumped into the wrong forum and disturbed those who want expensive watches for next to nothing. My apologies to you all..

Im not sure how you inferred that from my post.

Nothing I wrote suggested a main driver for this forum is maximising profit. It鈥檚 you who have suggested this is your aim and asked for us to help you achieve it.

You seem only to focus on posts which you characterize as bullying without giving any thought to how the tenor of your own posts have contributed to the responses that you鈥檙e getting. OK! I understand, but I also have a lot of watches to sell which I took over from a retired watchmaker and there are many good watches. As I told, I麓m new in this game and need info in order to not get ripped of by people who want to get an expensive watch for a few bucks.
Could that be the reason for some members here who are afraid to share info about watch prices because they are afraid to not get any cheap deals anymore?

Well, I doubt that anyone contributing to this thread is drooling over the OP watch with the pimples. But if you actually have some interesting watches, let's see 'em. And let's hear more about their history and your story. That's how this thread should have started.

Yes, you are maybe right and an answer like yours is correct and not the other dysfunctional and rude answers from some other members. We don麓t have that kind of rude treatment of newbies in similar scandinavian groups. This is the first forum I experience this kind of quarrelling.

Being a newbie doesn't justify you barging in only to find out that there are certain manners that simply irritate. You're doing a very good job at insisting that most long time members here are "rude and dysfunctional". Projection much?

You obviously also have a problem in understanding what was said here. He's saying that YOU are the one attempting to take Easy Street by trying to profit from collectors that worked hard at gathering the knowledge YOU want to extract with the stroke of your first obtrusive post.
