Dear All,

I am buying a 2016 manufactured 37.5 MM Omega PO brand new from an AD, what would be the right discount to ask. Is 25% reasonable?.

Regards

Go for 30% on the basis that if you don't ask, you don't get

Unlikely, but possible with 2016 NOS. Omega ADs are not discounting as aggressively as they used to. 10-15% would be more typical, although it depends on the model. 30% sounds more like a grey market discount.

Manufactured in 2016! Is it new? It’s going to be ready for a service in a few years.

It'll come with a five year warranty, if it craps out he's covered.

Try to offer a price at 30% discount and get their answer. If they offer you a number keep cutting that number down towards your 30% discount number. If they are not moving on the price, then tell them you will be in the area for the rest of the afternoon and if they want to sell it today give you a call back. You will leave knowing the price they are wanting and you can look around the sales forums and see what you can get for your money.

right, but a warranty and a service interval are different. He’s five years closer to getting it serviced.
