I’m looking for one of these nato straps but all I can see on the Omega site is a black and grey one. The one in the picture looks blue and black unless my eyes are playing tricks on me. Does anyone have a part number for the strap in the picture?

The OEM, is definitely black and grey.

It does show different in pics. As an example, this is one of their stock photos and next to it is mine, and as you can see it can appear different in different lights

Thanks. Just wondering whether the one I like is possibly not an OE Omega one. Side by side there’s definitely a difference. I think the black/blue combo is perfect for a blue faced diver so I’m surprised they don’t do one.

The pic up top doesn't look to be OEM, the middle stripe is a different width, The OEM SPECTRE are all same size stripes. Plus the keeper is very spacey.
These 2 shots here you've just posted, the same owner? Pic on left is a different strap

They do do this light grey and blue one,

🙁 I've gone right off it now - I thought I had my birthday present sorted there.

I have a load of after-market NATO, but rarely wear them because nothing is as comfortable as the OEM. They just feel better. Sad but true....
What's your main concern then, the colours of the OEM?

Yeah. I could imagine them to suit the colours of the black or grey faced new SMPc's but I’d really like something with blue/black stripes for the watch I have. Maybe the plain blue one might suit mine. Does anyone know if the blue rubber straps that come with the new watches can be bought separately?

Usually straps yes. Only time I got refused was the NATO for the Commander as it's a Ltd Ed, and some parts, clasps etc., but otherwise it's usually doable from somewhere.

Right. I’ve decided. The OB checked and apparently the rubber straps on the incoming model doesn’t fit the outgoing one so I’m going with an OE nato strap. I’ve made my choice and it was between these two. Okay, it’s not exactly the same SMPc 300 diver watch as mine but it’s the nearest I could mock up (colour wise) on the Omega site. Just out of curiosity, which strap do you think suits best?

Did they really check the fitment of the strap on the watch? Just asking because I was told something similar, that the rubber strap on the new AT would not fit the previous-gen AT, despite some evidence to the contrary. I went ahead and ordered it, and it did fit.

I can’t see why it wouldn’t so I asked and they phoned Omega up to check and phoned me back. It was £225 with the buckle and if I ordered it and it didn’t fit, they probably wouldn’t take it back. Anyway, I think that blue may be too light for my watch now so I’ve decided on a nato. Hirsh do a rubber strap in a darker blue for £39 so may try that as well.

I prefer the stripes, a bit more distinctive

My choice was blue. I’ve just ordered stripes at the last minute! Oh well, I can always return it if it looks wrong. Looked okay on the new SMPc's, a bit more distinctive than the blue. We'll see.

And it’s here. Perfect! Came well boxed, in a pouch, in a bag, in a box, in a cover and finally a big padded postage box - I thought they’d sent a watch instead!
