It depends, last year I wore a seamaster quartz. This year I happened to be wearing my speedy Tuesday when we left home so I have been wearing that. I don t really worry about getting robbed. I am usually in bed by 9pm. Photo taken on the train between Warsaw and Krakow last week. Wonderful country and wonderful people.

I take 3 or 4. Where I am is quite safe and my watches are all insured fully. My personal favourite for hols is the 16710.....

I changed my mind. I just bought a 2 month old Tudor Pepsi GMT from Sunny, that can accompany me on our cruise this October along with (or maybe instead of) my Ti Planet Ocean 9300. It'll be here Tuesday. I'll have to make use of the room safe, or only bring one of them along.

Maybe so, but there were no muggers on the moon (that they knew of at least)

I completely understand your concern about wearing a valuable watch while traveling. It's essential to strike a balance between enjoying a nice timepiece and being practical. One option could be to bring a watch that's not overly flashy but still suits your style. That way, you can have the best of both worlds.

Something with a quick set time zone feature can be very convenient. I like to take my Seamaster 300 with me on vacation because I can quickly change the hour hand when I change time zones while the watch is running without affecting the positioning of the minute and second hands. Although it’s an expensive watch, it’s not blingy and doesn’t attract much attention in public.

Loving that strap. If you don’t mind me asking what is your wrist size? Does it wear comfortably?

Funny that this thread got revived as one of my best friends returned from his vacation, only to discover that their house had been burglarized and his Tudor LHD got stolen… while he wore a GPS watch on vacation.

Something with a date window... as on vacation I always forget the day of the week... let alone the date of the month
