Hello! could anybody give me an advise regarding this early 50' ? wrist watch? is it valuable in any way? any possible information regarding this watch will be appreciated thanks, David
How about a photo of the dial? You have the 3 digit caliber (movement) number and the reference number (inside the case back), both of which are more than sufficient to do a sold items search on eBay. That will give you the value. Is this the same watch in this thread? If so, maybe the staff can combine the two. https://omegaforums.net/threads/new-member.53979/
You have a caliber 283 which was first introduced in 1949, a very reliable movement. The 13 mill serial number dates your movement to approximately 1953. As to value, only when it's been sold will you really know. Try eBay for completed listings.
Here is a link to the model number. Your seamaster dial could be In any condition, so therefore can not give my opinion. https://www.omegawatches.com/planet-omega/heritage/vintage-details/15000/
