What do you think of Speedmaster with light dial?

I like them, but only one of those in the pic has a truly white dial, the others are creme, silver, silvery opaline, or a heavily texured grey silver. They often tend to be referred to as white dials, but they are all different in person. Nice collection.

Just pointing out that when people often refer to these as 'white' dial Speedmasters, they aren't. Many people have not seen these particular models in person, only in pics that often show them as whitish. Even a poster in this thread said it was 'a beautiful line up of white dials'. The Tokyo 2020 Rising Sun is in no way a white dial, not by any stretch of the imagination. For a crowd that obsesses over the blackness or shade of vintage dials I'm not sure what your hangup is in pointing out reality.

It’s worth noting the OP never said the word “white”. However, they did say “light dial”, which all of these are… You were the first member to use the descriptor “white” 😉.

OP, this is an excellent lineup of gorgeous watches!

I like the lighter dials too. Here are a couple of mine. In case there is any pedantry, one is true white, one a mix of silvers.

I confirm that we are talking about light dials in general, not exclusively white. However, the light shade that I prefer is the ivory of the moon phase 357520.

What a beautiful collection of "light" dials (and I'm sure you've got other Speedies too)!!. I'm a huge fan of white/light dials too and here's a few of mine.....

Daddy-daughter set (she's got another 14 years to get hers!)

Recent Apollo 35th dial mod

Quick question.... I've always liked that MoonPhase Speedy with the blue hands. How does it wear for size compared to the the black bezel watches? Does the silver bezel make it look/feel larger or smaller?

Nice double silver set @padders
Same question to you.... does the silver bezel wear larger?
The bezel itself looks fractionally wider than the black infill one but the watch itself wears exactly the same.

Now, someone share their Alaska Project so we can continue the fun 😁.

I really enjoy this one. They are still mercifully undervalued compared to other light dial options.

True! Perhaps one of the most underrated and undervalued watches ever for how beautiful it is (at least for me). Lately I've been enjoying it with Rubber and the original Deplo and I like it even more.

Can’t help with that but I can add a Mitsukoshi to the mix

I actually saw most of these in Tokyo on a recent trip. I REALLY thought I would like the one on the right (plain white, red bezel) but it didn't really do anything for me. The Panda watches as well were uninteresting. I've never been a fan of the steel-colored bezels or non-traditional subdials, so the left one seems wrong to me as well.

I DID see the snoopy, and while I thought it was cool, I'm not sure it is 'cooler' than plain black one, so I probably wouldn't even have paid MSRP for it. I DID just end up buying the white Speedmaster though, and should have it soonish.

I WILL say I was pretty shocked at the Snoopy, Panda, and Red-Ring Olympics ones looked to me, I really thought I would love all 3, but they fell flat. So I was even MORE shocked with how good I thought the new white dial looked.

Fine, I’ll join.
Just got the rhodium back from my watchmaker.

And I’ll add another Mitsukoshi as well.
