Hi,

Looking for a nice polerouter date like this one, I'm very suspicious with the tendance of the moment with this model.

But, perhaps this is a good opportunity. What do you think about ?

Thanks !

Check out https://universalgenevepolerouter.com
reference table.

Some of the movement etchings look like poor quality, looks off to me.

Thanks, yes, I saw those details.
Movement seems to be a 218-2.
No mention of the microrotor on the dial but this also seems possible if we refer to the proposed site. But I'm agree with the poor quality of the engraving.

I just saw this posting here on OF, maybe the etchings are ok.

Dial and series number are matching. It's a 204612 from 1963/1965 with a 218-2 movement (thanks again for the bible link 😉👍). Etchings have to be verified but for the rest it seems to be ok. Don't you think ?

Sorry, I don’t have any familiarity with this model of Polerouters, just the own I own, it has the cal. 215 Patent Pending movement. I’ve seen a number of the online,I love the looks, but that’s it.

Looks like a good example to me. No one is going to make a fake movement of this caliber. The only concern would be if the case has been polished or if the dial has been refinished. Both look OK here, but case condition is always hard to judge from photos.

I’ve been keeping an eye on Polerouters for a while now, and I have to say, this one is genuinely a solid example. I haven’t seen many in this kind of condition recently and I am surprised it is still around.
The big crown reference is definitely one of the most desirared and, from what I can see, the condition checks a lot of boxes: clean glossy dial, original plexy, lume dots intact, no obvious wear of the rotor on the case back, and the engravings are still legible, which isn’t always the case.
If you are considering picking up a Polerouter, I would really consider this example, especially given how prices have been trending. It’s not easy to find one this well-preserved at that price point.
