Hello everybody. My name is Koen, I’m from the Netherlands and i’m looking to buy my first vintage watch. After doing some research and with the help of this forum I came across this watch. I would really appreciate it if you guys could give your opinion on this watch. Thanks in advance!

Looks like a nice honest watch, with normal wear to the case, edges are crisp.

My only concern is the wear on the rotor and corresponding marks on the inside of the case back, indicating a worn rotor bushing. If the seller can't provide a receipt for repair of this it must be figured into your budget.

You also haven't provided a price.

I like it! Looks okay all around. The case back gasket is sadly very deteriorated, and traces of gasket residue show on the movement. If you end up buying it, do not wear it until it has been thoroughly and competently serviced! Add the cost of a thorough service to the asking price before you decide to buy.

Look very nice..I prefer stainless steel watches but this gold plated still looks ok. Now of course will all depend of the price. So waiting to hear the price.

Thanks! I did not notice that. The seller is asking €1000,- but I think I can get it for €875,- so that is not cheap. I wil definitely get it serviced.

I am NOT into OMEGA 70ies models: should there be T-marks on the dial? 😕

And: does this vary due to specific laws of (export-)countries??

I would say €875 is not a bad price for a C shaped Connie in this market. They appear to be very popular at the moment. Even after a competent service, if you like the watch and enjoy it you’re not doing too badly.

there are some here, I’m sure, who would argue that’s too high a price but I don’t agree.

Good Morning Koen and welcome.
I think it's a nice example of a gold capped Constellation in reasonably good condition. I too think €875 is a good price, at the top end of its value but good nonetheless. How many modern new watches of similar quality can you get for the same price these days I wonder. as mentioned previously it will require service, there are signs of 'rotor rub' in the movement photos. Good luck.
