Picked up this great Tropic strap from @Uncle Seiko for the flightmaster a couple weeks back. Has been a really great summer addition, tho I really would love to see these offered in short lengths. Comfortable, and the era-correct style suits the flighty so well.

My new 1506/832 strap. I hate calling anything “NOS” but this is as close as you get. Uncut rubber, stickers still on the ultra-tight clasp. Really happy with the purchase, good price too.

I picked up "Patek Philippe: Complicated Wrist Watches" again. I had it years ago, found in a thrift shop for $8, sold for $250, missed it dearly, and here years later found another for $40 so I pounced. Really one of the best books if you love spending hours staring at the guts of complicated pieces and page after page of stunning dials.
(It had a long trip via Media Mail so that's why it's relaxing in the hammock.)

Got mine last week.
Cool, enjoy!

They were on sale at Amazon Canada last week for $25 CDN, I was going to post the sale here, but I ended up getting the last one from that seller. My first spring bar tool.

Picked up some Oliver People's Benedict polarized sunglasses. I've worn probably every aviator in existence and these, by and far--have the best darned optics.

Crap. I just remembered. This isn't watch related, but I can make it watch related since I'm in waiting for a replacement to my speedy racing 9900 which arrived with a wonky second Chrono second hand.

project to repurpose some wine boxes we have. purchased the foam from "case club". a 1-1/2" solid base layer with a 1" "pick" layer that I'll use to create the spots for the watches.
thats a fantastic idea!
its cool you found the alpha omega boxes as well

Ah the last of the big spenders, a seatbelt Nato from WatchObsession which hopefully will sit well with my green Seiko Sumo ?

Yes, twist ties. I've never trusted just the brackets, in particular with heavy watches, so I've pretty much always used twist ties.
I wondered too how they never just flew off. Made me wince every time I saw one of these!
