What Did you Buy Recently, Watch Related But Not A Watch?

This just came in, an original NOS Omega black alligator snug lug fitting strap, now to locate the correct fold over clasp that goes with this type of strap. Buckles just eventually wreck a nice strap no matter how well you keep them conditioned or take care of it and this ones too expensive and hard to find to trash like that.

In my experience, using a fold over clasp on a strap that was intended for a buckle and tang never fits the wrist properly.

Agreed, however, some straps have a fold over clasp specifically designed to work with a particular strap and fortunately this one has one.

Point me in the direction of a part number cause I would love a fold over clasp that I could use with regular watch straps. That would definitely open up a lot of possibilities without spending 200plus on folding clasp specific straps.

Unless you mean butterfly clasps, I dont hate them but I dont love them either.

I'm with you, I hate butterfly clasp.
But, here's a single fold over made by Omega that's available. If you go into my thread, "Which Deployant Buckle" there's a video of this posted.
The reference number is 94531603 though.

Until I can find this buckle at a reasonable price, I ordered this one off amazon to use in the meantime, solid stainless and it works the same way. It'll afford me the luxury of wearing my watch without trashing the strap with a buckle until the Omega one comes along.

Getting ready to pull the trigger on an alligator strap with deployant clasp for my Globemaster, but still trying to decide which one. I love Omega’s version, but not at $800 USD. 🙁

This cool N.O.S. Key ring. I looked up the maker, and apparently they also make custom fit leather luggage that comes with Ferrari cars! I certainly don’t have a Ferrari budget yet, but I’ve got the perfect keychain when the right car comes along (and I win the F**king lottery!!!) 😜

Bought a genuine Omega 16mm tang buckle for a leather strap for my SMP. Bought it from cousinsuk, with insured tracked shipping, it was cheaper than directly from the Omega Boutique...

Jaeger and Longines arrived today, this whole avenue could become dangerous but on the other hand it might save on the decorating 😁

I bought a used watch box from Omega because I find it very attractive. I wasn't able to get information with wich Seamaster it was sold. Already started a thread here but no clear result.
Anyway it's a pretty home for my Seamaster

I was contemplating black hardware but ended buying the patina finish which is meant to match titanium cases. Then I took a risk and also ordered a German flag because it'll be going on a Sinn. If the yellow and red on the flag undo the "Black Ops" aesthetic too much I might un-stitch the flag off it.

Based on your avatar, is yours going on the Apollo 8 DSOTM?
