A quiet year for me, an issued CWC RN300 diver and an Aquastar Deepstar. Kind of lose the faith 🙁

Just this one, in early January. I wore it more than all my other watches combined this year.

I vaguely remember the thread at the end of 2019 on what we were aiming to buy in 2020... I didn't get any that I had listed.

In January I picked up my only watch of the year, an A11 50th, love it to bits but is worn sparingly as for special occasions but we haven't had that many this year.

All things considered, buying a watch in what has been such a difficult year for so many...

I had grand plans for this year - didn't we all!
In the end, I went prudent and only made one small purchase. Hoping 2021 allows the purse strings to be loosened once again.

Maybe it is just this year it is people that matter having a bad one.... but all lives do matter … all the time … or they should do.
The UK Government put a huge discount on food this year .. eat out to help out .. to try and kick start the economy from a tail spin after lockdown. I don't know the answers and I suspect a lot of people on this forum do their charity bit. For sure not buying any stuff will not help based on the current economic models (sorry for spoiling this thread a bit)

I bought a house in 2020, so it has been a little quiet on the watch front. I bought a Marathon GSAR back in May and I believe that is it.

It is a very cool watch though and I can’t recommend it enough, if you are looking for a tool watch in the Sub $2000 range. I love the tritium tubes and discreet lume. The bracelet is also really nice and very robust.

And on duty inspecting the construction of an off-shore wind farm in the Baltic Sea

This was a big milestone year for my family. I sold more than I bought, here are some highlights.

Here is what left the collection:

Japanese Mod

Wakmann

NOS Broadarrow

NOS Speedmaster

Killer ‘85 16750

Here’s what came in:

NOS Zenith

Beautiful Full set 16700 with mesmerizing patina

‘69 Omega stop watch

Last but no least, the biggest and most exciting purchase was for my daughter....hence the purge

Clearly too much time on my hands. Sold quite a few as well so the collection hasn’t grown excessively......
