What could cause 1039 bracelet to stretch?

Hello everyone,

I had sent a year ago my 1039 bracelet to Michael in Hong Kong for restoration. It came back in quite good condition. Been wearing it mostly on a daily basis and lately, I seem to find once side seems to be stretching out a bit. To clarify, I’m not talking about the spring stretch links. I’m talking about the non spring ones. I clean the bracelet in an untrasonic cleaner once a month approximately. Just wondering if it’s concerning or I should just continue enjoying the bracelet or if I should send it for restoration again.

Attached is each side of the bracelet for reference

I think there is a restriction in how much you can repair them, as there is i blade like pin between each link holding it together, and as the size of these restrict how much stretch you can fix-i vote for enjoying it. For reference what is the cost for fixing it at mr young?

I think you’re right and maybe one was about to fall off. Guess new ones can be installed again.

Cost me about US$300 for a full restore. Sadly, I found out after that they didn’t replace most of the springs and they have been breaking off and I’ve been replacing them myself.

Can you post underside pics?

Not having much luck, dropped it and it got jammed a bit with that tube @joso is referring to (circled in red). Managed to massage it a bit and it seems better.

I’d like to continue using the bracelet regularly and hope it can keep serving me well.

Thanks, just wondering if it can eventually be restored again and again.
