I actually met the member at the last GTG in Orange county. As we where talking we figured out we lived walking distance from each other.
I was going to put my pin on the largest beach front home in San Diego. But figured I should use a very large park instead.
@Jwit Great idea. Really appreciate the effort and it is shaping up to be a cool resource for the curious and/or traveling OF'ers. A few fun facts:

California with 8 members is the most represented state or region in OF world (‡).
Next is British Columbia with 6 members, and sharing 3rd place with 5 each is Alberta and Massachusetts.
Canada is also well represented in the by city rankings with Vancouver and Calgary at a healthy 5 members each. Back to the U.S., Boston and New York City are not far behind with 4 a piece, while Chicago and San Diego can each claim 3.
Most other cities with more than one member could their host meetups on a two-man bicycle (§) ... Including Dubai, Kuwait City
Isn't there a guy living in the Atlantic Ocean? Why not represent him??
Weird I only see 3 in BC and 10 in Canada. Wonder why that is?
@Rodmar I just assumed you were constantly drifting in and out of international waters. But if you're tied to a buoy in territorial waters we can work with this.
But if this is the case, maybe you don't actually know where you are. 🤔 Does a boat pull up alongside you once a year to collect taxes? Next time, try and read the side of it for flags or other markings. Get back to me.
Pin added but it just says "Sweden" as this place does not have a name:
