I'm a London boy really but a few years ago I moved away from the madness to enjoy the coast and countryside of Dorset. I've dropped my pin on the very exclusive Sandbanks. It's 'way way way' too expensive for my budget, but I live and work close by and it's a lovely place to take visitors. It has great beaches, cafes and lovely views over Poole Harbour and, out to sea, across to the Isle of Wight
That sounds familiar
I moved from London to Dorset many moons ago, for a while
not too far from you - Winfrith Newburgh - the other side of Wool on the road to Lulworth Cove
Dorset is a really nice place to live when you've had enough of the rat-race
West Bay near Bridport and Lyme Regis are nice.

Yes but I'm still getting used to the smell of cow shite!😁 Lulworth Cove is a very nice. I took some friends to Durdle Door recently. It's like 'living on holiday'.🙄
As it became known I trained as an architect, my first 'village job' (everyone got jobs to do) was to add some burial plots to the old Winfrith cemetery plan. (To fit just a few more in)
Thing is it was on 50 year old oiled cloth (think pirate's map) in Imperial measurements of course. 😲
I'm not suggesting that Dorset was behind the times but I think this was still current technology for them
No way I was going to draw on that - so got my Rotrings out, surveyed the whole cemetery and drew it up in 'newfangled' measurements
I often wondered if they ever measured from the drawing whether they would dig the holes in the wrong place 🤔
So you can find my place of residence and attempt to steal my watches....I think not.
Good day sir.
Lol must not get the sarcasm as you can see my location on the map 😀 hahahaha
I think I literally LoL'd at your emoji!
Vancouver is home to 4 members, @cvrle1 @grizzlycanuck @Jammer005 and yourself. Two members have pins in the same exact spot, so to the casual eye it looks like only 3.
In the first tally I accidentally included Surrey as a part of Vancouver, bringing the total to 5 members...which is not the case. This distinction now belongs to Calgary (?) ...but with 3 Anonymous entries, seems highly dubious. This could be Calgary's La La Land Best Picture moment.
Aaaaaay! Whad'ya mean California is the most represented?
What about Britain? There are 13 flags here, so far, and this little triangular Island is basically just an unsinkable US aircraft carrier loitering off the coast of Europe!
