What Caused The Dial To Do This?

Just wondered what caused the dial to age like this? Is this a re-dial? I can't quite tell since sometimes these clean white dials don't always age in the same way as off white colours. Could anything be done about it?

I think it is a redial.......馃槙 The font is too thick, as well as the minute markers.
I am not sure what makes that brown stain, my wild guess is corrosion water from the inner case?

Clearly a redial. Typically rust from below. I wouldn't even consider this one.

It looks like the paint has peeled off and revealed the brass below.

Yes, poor prep work on the dial before the repaint. Either improperly cleaned or contaminants left on the surface of the brass.

Or the dial was reinstalled before the paint dried and the edge stuck to the case or retaining ring the next time the watch was taken apart.
