British Lamb (ok Welsh :0) with a nice Malbec.... then strawberries and cream for Wimbledon .. and maybe we will eat Italian later... or possibly humble pie... either way a great Sunday.

Japanese Kaiseki-don!
Different kind of fish and seafood, some fresh/raw some prepared on vinegared sushi rice at a simple, local Fish Restaurant.
Nothing fancy, but fresh and tasty!

As soon as the Covid situation improves and travelling becomes easier, I'm going to Japan! I even have the travel guides bought in preparation 😀

Once, a few years ago, we did a gourmet menu. Smoked salmon as starter, then a Côte a l'os (T-Bone ?) with tent made French fries!!!

Our neighbours were eating sandwiches for dinner 😀

Similar situation on a return from holiday in France a few years back ...... everyone around us were eating "airline food" while we had ham&cheese baguettes, assorted cheeses and macrons & Opera cakes for dessert. We got a few "evil" looks.👍

Pork neck? I have not seen this cut in our local grocery store, probably would need to investigate a butcher shop. Not to look too ignorant, but could you also use pork belly? 😕

Another tent dinner was veal chop with stoemp! Stoemp is roughly smashed potatoes with a veggie, in this case, spinach... Doesn't look impressive but yummy

Yes, it is pork neck, but belly is also good😀
