Hey everyone
I have been a long time observer and this is my first post. I've owned many Rolex watches (none divers) as i have always contemplated the Omega. For the first time i went to see the PO and i just cannot get over the obnoxious thickness of the 8500. I must say, i am dying to get my hands on a PO LM LE!!!

Am I going to end up chasing after one for the rest of time? I would pay top $ for a pristine one, but that doesn't seem to surface any interested sellers 馃檨

Can anyone help?

Thanks
Lamz

Welcome, and we forgive you for owning Rolex 馃槤

Yep, the PO 8500 has serious mass. Wear the PloProf first, then the PO doesn't seem that big.

I must say, i am dying to get my hands on a PO LM LE!!!

Put up a "WTB" (want to buy) thread in the marketplace forum here, say you have lots of money to throw at this, and you will get sellers contacting you 馃榿 These pop up every few months, so all it will take is some patience.

I recently saw one on watchrecon for $6500, but the seller noted there were swirls on the AR. It's gone now, but you should definitely keep an eye on watchrecon for one and post a WTB ad here. Someone will eventually want to sell theirs to move on to something else.

Or you could hold off until Baselworld 2016 and see what Omega has in store for us. It seems like ceramic dial Seamasters are on the way and theres no telling if we won't get to see another black ceramic dial Planet Ocean (here's to hoping)

They are around, as everyone has said put and add on Wtb ( want to buy) section. There's a good chance you'll get a call. There was one for sale recently on the private sales section.

Also as bb58 said I'd wait for baselworld as they are supposed to bring a thinner 43 mm model with the liquid metal and ceramic dial combo. Probably worth waiting for.

I have tags, rolex, JLC and omega divers, the PO LMLE is probably the most beautiful pound for pound. The vintage Rolex still carries the iconic edge and JLC is the smart one, but the PO LMLE is just perfectly balanced and manages to be modern without compromise.

Good luck

@metalgear I saw this pop up on watchrecon. Price is reasonable and from what the pictures show, the crystal is pristine. If you're interested you could ask the seller for more pics. Highly recommend you pick it up if you don't feel like waiting until the new releases are announced at Baselworld in March

Edit: also @Lamz since you said you were interested too

I saw the same on his website. That is a great price, if I did not have mine already I would pick this up.

The PO LM LE is a really nice watch but it's very dressy when compared to the CR PO 8500

I've been negotiating with David for a couple of days and came to a deal today with him for the PO LM LE and black Explorer II together. I check his site often since I bought my BLNR from him last summer. Can't wait!

Well, I know it's kinda nuts - I'd considered an AP RO untra-thin but it was more than 2x as much as both of these combined, and it sold before I could make up my mind.

It's also nuts because I have both the 40mm and 42mm Polar Explorer II but not a black one, and I didn't like the hands on the new black ones, so I picked up a V serial number Exp II in black. Wondering it will have a 3186 inside.

And further nuts because I have both a PO2500 with a new orange and a new black bezel, plus a Ti PO LM in blue, and now I'm adding a black PO LM LE and I plan to keep all three!
