In the late seventies an aunt of my father's visited from America. She brought with her a Timex for a kid she'd never met. That summer I learned to read the time on that watch, and wore it for my Communion. It's long gone now, but you never forget your first.
Hmmm . . . Do you think that strategy would work with your black-dialed, gold hardware, single crown super compressor Lemania?
That's a beautiful art deco case. I have a similar one, love the hands!!!!There's nothing like an heirloom. My dad's gold Hamilton tank from the 40's is on my never sell list.
Why nobody mentioned Standy's Seiko SKX007? https://omegaforums.net/threads/fs-...dition-28-000-obo.125027/page-11#post-1812748
Some great watches posted! Personally, I have no favorite watch. A top 5-10 maybe. Variety is a major part of the reason I enjoy this hobby. Dive watch one day, dress watch the next, pilot watch the following, etc....
I’m like a teenager, every week i have a new favorite watch of all time! that’s why i collect and live them so much!
