Mk40 bought, SN typo

Hi All!
New here, so go easy please! 😀.

I've just bought my second Omega, my first being a super cheap 90s Deville..but this time I've gone for a Speedmaster!

I set my heart on the design of the mk40, and my budget just about stretched to a 3520.50 on Chrono24 with aftermarket leather strap (which doesn't bother me). It was pretty much the cheapest one on there with a warranty card..right at the top of my budget I reiterate (I have 101 hobbies, and saving for a wedding, in fact I'm desperate to wear it on the big day)

So the watch arrives, I love it and it seems to work fine..BUT the serial number on the case back is a digit off the serial number on the warranty card.
It's a middle digit, 6 instead of an 8 kind of job, so plausible as a typo perhaps, the Japanese seller, who has 000s of good reviews, thinks it's just a typo too.

What's your advice please guys/gals? Is it big alarm bells and you'd return it (I've been offered this by the seller), or do you think it's no big deal to a non-collector like myself who just wants to own a Speedmaster.

Thanks in advance,
Matt, UK.

Accept it as a typo error. If it's the only digit that is wrong it's not likely there is any type of fraud involved. I have a Cartier clock that I've put at auction that I've had for 39 years. Pulled the certificate out and checked the SN on the clock and discovered the last digit is a '0' but a '6' is on the certificate (hand written), just a wrong digit when the sales guy in Jeddah filled it in in 1986.
