I saw the new Hulu series Catch 22. Where McWatt says to Yossarian :
" Do you know the difference between you and me?"
" You; worry, worry worry, dead!"
" Me; happy, happy, happy, dead!"
" Don`t drag me into your shit!"

I should listen to McWatt, but unfortunately I like to be alive too, so I am a Yossarian. But I have finally learned not to drag others into my shit, hell I have even learned not to drag myself into my shit. Guess that happens eventually when the shit dragging reaches a certain level.

Off course there was a clip of this exchange: You, worry, worry, worry, worry, dead - YouTube

Our lives are pretty insignificant, except to us and the people we see. So be good to yourself and try to be kind to others, too.

…particularly if it’s on the inside of a trench coat.

To make a mistake is to be human . . .

. . . but you'll need a better excuse next time!

Don't take criticism from someone you wouldn't go to for advice.

This is really good and I've already thought about it twice in the 48 hours that have passed since reading it.

I'll add it's particularly good advice for anyone making the foolish decision to join their HOA board.

Edit: Here's some more advice: Don't join your HOA board.

My father when I started my first job. To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late and to be late is unacceptable.
It's served me well.
