It sold a week ago, so it's possible auction winner backed out and the seller put it up again. You could ask the seller.

"If the buyer doesn’t respond to your message or invoice and still hasn’t paid, here’s what you should do:

If it’s been more than 2 full days since the listing ended, you can select Report an unpaid item. [...] (we call this opening a case). [...]

After opening a case, the buyer has 4 days to respond or pay for the item. On the 5th day, you can close the case [...]

The unpaid item is then recorded on the buyer’s account, the final value fee will be credited back to you, and you can relist the item."

Nothing fishy happens up here in Canada.
Except Castro's son runs the place.
I like the watch except for the "3".

Something weird is surely going on since it is still being offered by a New Jersey seller on Chrono24...

I don’t entirely mind that dial, its the type Kyle tends to be attracted to. The situation sounds rather odd though for sure.

Some of the copy in both listings is word-for-word. I'm guessing it's a Canadian seller listing it as being in the USA on Chrono to attract more buyers. I'll let you know if he writes me back.

Probably an issue there with the case screw replaced by a wad of paper.

I contacted the eby seller and this is the response :

New message from: ami_3944 (106)
Hi

Thank you for your interest.

I think some one fraud here. I have the watch. I am not who this person is. It’s looks like he took the pictures from eBay and he has listed my add and pictures. I attaching the pic taken now here in Canada. Thank you again for contacting me and letting me know.

He included this picture from a few minutes ago with the response.

We will see

Chrono24 guy says he can't send me an updated pic because the watch is with his watchmaker for 1-1.5 weeks for "COA"

This whole thing seems very fishy!

You can’t mistake that watch for two of the same watch with that 3, the same watch band.

Would Chrono advertise it for sale and then if they sell it at that price buy it off eBay to sell it to their buyer? Does that happen?

I agree I really like the look of that dial thou! Wish it was a cleaner 3.

Definitely the same watch, same pics.

I've read that people sell watches on chrono24 they don't yet own, and the traditional tell is stock photos of a watch. I was not aware this happens with used watches, but that may be what's happening here.
