Not very knowledgeable with omega’s but purchased this Seamaster DeVille. Haven’t been able to find any info on the symbol on the face. Has anyone seen this before?

It’s a fairly common thing to see. Some companies had their own logo applied to the dial. That logo is either cotton or Monsanto or something similar.

also middle eastern countries/rulers would do the same thing.

Thought it might be an old logo for Archer Daniels Midland, but couldn't find it.

Best be careful if it’s the Monsanto logo. They’re pretty ruthless if they catch someone using something of theirs without permission, even unintentionally. Just ask those poor prosecuted farmers guilty of little more than being downwind. :D

Monsanto is no more, the company was bought by Bayer in 2018 who now have to contend with the phony Roundup scam run by the crooked trial lawyers, i.e. legalized extortion.

Indeed. I recall Bayer taking over MonSatan a while back. That said, Bayer’s is far from a clean slate. Their history is likewise dodgy (says the hypocrite who buys Aspirin).
