··Nowhere near as grumpy as he used to be...It’s a fairly common thing to see. Some companies had their own logo applied to the dial. That logo is either cotton or Monsanto or something similar.

·Best be careful if it’s the Monsanto logo. They’re pretty ruthless if they catch someone using something of theirs without permission, even unintentionally. Just ask those poor prosecuted farmers guilty of little more than being downwind. 😁

·Monsanto is no more, the company was bought by Bayer in 2018 who now have to contend with the phony Roundup scam run by the crooked trial lawyers, i.e. legalized extortion.

·I may have the answer to this. The green plant/leaf symbol appears to be the International Minerals & Chemical Corporation (IMC) logo. I have a nearly identical Omega Seamaster De Ville with the same symbol, and the caseback is engraved “IMC Lavino / 25 Years / 1972.” Lavino was an IMC division with a major plant in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, just outside Conshohocken, so these appear to have been corporate service-award watches.
