Seiko gang made the request then backed it up with genuine enthusiasm for 3 years and 88 pages, it’s well deserved 👍

It's a great addition thanks!

Now the community can love Seiko (or trash them) here without cluttering up the other watch brands section. ::stirthepot::

And what about a Bulova, Benrus and Zodiac sub-forum....perhaps we can call them the Killed by Quartz family.

We now have to partition for new Seiko posts not to be featured in the "Latest" list. Problem solved.

I'm on the fence here. On the one hand, it's great to have a place to discuss Seikos, on the other hand, the SCWF is where most of the great Seiko scholarship has occurred for the last decade+. That forum is experiencing a lot of problems right now. The members lost control of it to a corporation (the same one that owns watchuseek) that doesn't care about it and won't even do simple things like change the banner or logo, and participation is dropping. This threatens to take even more attention away from that, and I fear a lot of great research, and years of great threads there will get overlooked even more, and the good content will be split amongst even more forums.
That being said, onward and upward! I'm mostly a Seiko collector, so I look forward to seeing what develops here.
