Train shot. Great lighting...!

Great dial. Love the art deco font. I have been looking for something like that for a while ... Impossible to find!

True, I’ve only ever seen a handful of similar dials. And none in such nice condition. Thanks!

Dean .. this watch defines patina for me. It’s just perfectly flawed. Thanks!

My Compur 30, in honour of @knafel1983 's splendid effort on the other thread, another recently completed UG project here.

The dial was in lovely condition when I found this watch but everything else needed a lot of work. The movement was knackered and the watch hadn't moved for years. People had warned me that Cal 386 would be hard. I got the chrono system overhauled and the bottom pusher mended. The loose bezel and crystal were cleaned up and reattached. The lug tips and fixed bars were horribly "repaired" at some point in the past and have now been shown some love and corrective attention on a best-efforts basis. The crown is still wrong but I am reconciled to living with this forever as my heroic watchmaker finally ran out of Compur parts at the end of this project.

Scores of hours and hundreds of Pounds later; here we are. I think it turned out alright.
