Hi, anyone who can recommend a reasonably priced watchmaker to work on vintage Omegas and Rolex? Preferably in Bergen county NJ but online could work too. Thanks much!

That’s who I use. I’m happy with them but their prices are steep. A basic service usually cost more than I paid for the watch.

Easily solved, just buy more expensive watches. ;)

    How much, typically?

They wanted $600 for a basic service on an Omega 168.023. Paid $300 elsewhere. Also paid $750 for a Rolex 6694, which is a basic movement, but wasn’t winding as the crown wasn’t functioning. That might have needed a part or two but still seemed high to me. I don’t have another option for servicing my Rolexes, other than RSC.
