Watchmaker recommendation in Madrid

Hi all. Starting to enjoy my new passion and got already a couple vintage Omegas. Last one acquired with the expert help of some members of the forum, by the way, so thanks again guys. Next step is to find a reliable watchmaker in my location. Has any member any recommendation for a reliable watchmaker in Madrid to keep those two in good shape as well as the ones to come in the future (I hope)? Thanks in advance

Seems not many Spaniards here..... Or they do not want to share their secret. There are many Spanish sellers on eBay; parts mostly. I would everybody ask for a Madrid recommendation and see, who gets more points and go from there. Good luck ! Kind regards. Achim

@Tritium ,

Good to see you’re still in the hobby! I think of you every time I think of my Seamaster date at 6.

@Canuck
It's been a while since I last posted on the forum, and I'm glad to receive your welcome.
I always think on your watch. You know how much, I'd lke to take care of it. But honestly, I prefer many more years of Canuk!

Thanks for contacting @Rdelgao with me.
We just had a really nice call, and we're probably meeting soon to see watches on the fresh.

Regarding the OP question, I couldn't find what I wanted in Madrid, and I normally send my watches to UK or France for service

Many thanks @Canuck for suggesting me to contact @Tritium in my presentation thread. As he said, we already had a nice call and will meet soon. Only a couple weeks around in OF and I can't think of a better way to start a hobby, making good contacts with generous and helpful people

Hi everyone - thread revival!

I recently moved to Madrid and will have to do some servicing on some watches soon (vintage Omegas, Longines and some smaller brands)

Are there any more Madrileños on this forum since 2021? 😁

Any recommendation? Happy to discuss with PM if this is the preferred option!

Muchas gracias!!
Lucas

Hi Lucas,
For many years it's been a difficult task to find a competent watchmaker in Madrid to service omega watches and source parts. I tried many them and I can't recommend any. I ended up sending my watches to the UK, where they have many excellent ones.
But fortunately the times have changed and now we are lucky to have https://watchmakers.es/ in C/ Ortega y Gasset. They are omega certified, and while I haven't used them yet, I visited the shop and the guys there were really nice with me; they took the time to explain me their work and I went home with a very good impression.
I also talked with some other omega enthusiasts and all were excellent commmets.
It is definetly the place to go.

For anyone needing help in Spain or Latin-America, I highly recommend Relojes-Especiales. It's the most important watch forum in Spanish (most of the members are from Spain, though). That's one of the many forums I am a member of.
