New to this forum so Hi everyone.
I am looking to have my 2012 Sea Master Aqua Terra serviced and was quoted £330 inc VAT by Watchfinder and £450 inv VAT by Swiss Time Services.
Does anyone have any experience of servicing by Watchfinder. I see they are an approved Omega service enter and have a purpose built servicing facility which on the face of it appears to be quite impressive.
I have read many reviews of STS standards which appear to be quite good.
Thanks

Swiss Time Services are very good, I’ve used them several times in the past. They will do exactly as you ask, for example you might not want your watch polished during the service.

I can’t comment on watch finder as I’ve never used them. For me I would prefer to use someone who deals with Omegas on a regular basis.

You could always try Omega themselves for a service. Or there are many other recommended independent watchmakers with access to Omega parts. Just do a search on the forum 😀

Proven track record and direct experience with Omega of all ages. If you need to go the authorised service route, STS, no question.

For me, choosing a watchmaker is like choosing a dentist. You want absolute trust and as little pain as possible. And you want them to have significant experience with the problem you are bringing them.
