Let's see those watches in the workplace! As a mechanic, I usually remove mine and put it on top of my box or something. But today was mostly systems so I kept it on. Show me the pretty!
At the risk of repeating myself, this one. Not in a work environment at the moment, but this was one of two on my wrists over two days at the watch repair bench. This very watch being one on which I was working.
At my desk. Not much risk here, but I do play soccer at lunch time Mondays and Wednesdays. I am afraid to leave a nice watch in my locker, so I don't wear my Speedmaster on those days.
I’m currently on medical disability at my workplace...but when I’m working, I wear my modern Speedy Gonzales Moonwatch [as well as Axe Apollo].
I run a social enterprise video production house that trains and employs young people interested in film. All-too-often that means long, sweaty days wearing a beater. But sometimes it's safe to wear something more fun:
Great topic, always wear my watches on the job and near the water. I have once had the clasp open on a BigBlue while handling the ropes over the water at sea, so now im only wearing mesh or new Isofranes with the proper lock whilst on the water.
I'm a Microbiologist and although all my formative years were spent learning how to do experiments in a lab, when you progress in your career this ends up being the environment you spend most of your time in! The rare occasions where I get to do something in the lab are now a real treat!
I'm an Axe Phoenix guy... strangely that happens to be my dog's name which he already had when I adopted him. Total coincidence! But as an olive branch, I do wear a Speedmaster
I hope your dog is a little strange, because then we can say that Mad Dog wears Axe and Axe is a mad dog. Such opportunities come so rarely in life.
