Perhaps our educational friends should launch their own cease and desist

I’m impressed by the perpetual 1908…It’s going to be a hit. Now back to ogling the JLC Chronograph Reverso……….How many watches need I sell and what will MRS S do to me?
That one is very nice indeed.

I think this will be another Tiffany Blue; in demand, under produced, and with high secondary market prices and a potentially short manufacture run.
Do I want one? No.
Am I, or almost anyone frequenting OF, the target market? Again, I think the answer is no.

That's a fine novelty Rolex watch ...

... for somebody else.

I bet those assholes made the watch just so they could point at that clock and say… See! Infringement!

These will no doubt be very hard to get. They know exactly what they are doing.

I just called my AD and inquired about the 36mm Bubble watch...

"no idea when they arrive but we feel this will be a heavily in demand watch with an equally heavy allocation from Rolex, and therefore a volume specific purchase history will be required."

There ya go.

You gotta wonder what happens to all these high demand Rolexes when the silly bubble motif goes out of style and they are dumped onto the market later down the road. Will there be a demand for this high allocation of novelty Rolex watches?

Hey kiddies!

Be the last kid on your block to own yesterday's used bubbly Rolex!

Wonder how well Rolex dials take to Krylon spray paint?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Can you say "re-dial?"

I thought you could.

I’m sure this is going to sound silly/stupid, but…

A wristwatch’s primary purpose is to convey the time to the wearer. An example of a successful fulfillment of this primary purpose:

IMHO Rolex’s bubble watch, apart from being just ugly and uninspired, is unnecessarily difficult to read. It’s also an insult to those, now out-of-production, Tiffany-blue dialed OPs.

Yuck.

Now we know why Rolex issued that cease and desist.
Question is, which is rarer?

Hahahaha

Maybe it's because I grew up playing video games at the arcade, but I immediately thought of this game when I first saw the dial....

Man, if you’re gonna go bust some moves that’s the watch to have on while doing it!

Maybe it’s because I have young kids, but I’m a fan of the OP.

Costs less, same end result... wear your whatever color dial OP to a McDonald's Playland and roll in the balls.
