It certainly is a sports watch....Albeit a "gentleman's" sport watch. Just because it is elegant and beautiful ti does not take away from the basic function of the reverso. Turn it around and it's a sport's bracelet.

It is not a matter of taste or looks but function, and this is a watch (not this one but the reverso model) made for a specific function. Polo and contact sports.

 

Just the comments in the Hodinkee article indicate a branding challenge for JLC. Not as dire as GP but serious. I think however that with the new team, we will see some interesting moves. Reviewing the line, I’m dismayed that the true seconds is gone.

 

So is the Deep Sea. Which was gorgeous at a insanely decent price.

 

At least the master TDMP is around at 11k and the Master date at 6.7k usd.

the master ultra thin has to be the most bang for your buck dress watch on the planet at 7.9k (Swiss mid to high end category) add 2k for a gorgeous moon phase.
A 21k perpetual cal ultra thin? That’s a bargain for what you get.
