Watches + Alcohol

I picked up on a story via Instagram about a guy that scuffed up his Patek after a few too many celebratory drinks on the same day he purchased it. I purposely do not wear anything that can’t take a few knocks when out on the beers. Either that or it’s a bare wrist and my iPhone. Anyone else care to share any alcohol induced watch disasters?

I guess the bright side is, that there shouldn't be an endless waiting list for a new bezel and crystal.

The closest to a watch disaster was a couple of years ago at a bar. A real loud and annoying smartass was at the table next to us and to my astonishment and slight embarrassment he was wearing the exact same watch as me 🙁🙁

Isn't it easier to lose an IPhone than damage a watch strapped to your wrist? I don't take a phone out and wear a Seiko.
