Watchco Omega Seamaster 300 - Hard to pull out the crown

I have a Watchco Omega Seamaster 300 that I bought a year ago. The crown has always been hard to pull out. It screws and unscrews fine, but then when I try to pull the crown and set the time, it's quite difficult. Takes a few twists back and forth before I am able to pull it out.

Am I missing something? I don't want to keep forcing the crown and causing damage.

A watchmaker should be able to adjust the stem

Maybe needs a little dab of grease at the connection spot between the setting bridge and setting lever to help it slide better

The crowns on these are often very tight on the case tube, so it depends on what the actual problem is. If the seal is tight, then there's not much you can do until the seal gets broken in a bit - even adding more silicon grease only helps for a time.

If it's in the actual movement, then it could be worn or dry setting parts...

Need to get it to a watchmaker to see what they can do.

Cheers, Al
