I have made this myself.
Just need some wood varnish and some small adjustments.

That may be the coolest thing I've ever seen. Mind blown.

That's awesome! You should make these and sell them! Could be a full-time business.

I had a Wolf for a while. Wasn't a fan. It was a 3 watch and the watch holders kept falling out of the cylinders. I would wake up and see the Breitling I had at the time rotating bezel first on the case. Not fun. Since then, I tossed it and just hand wind whichever watch (knowing if I ever buy a complication i'll just get a single from someone else)

No need for a winder, keeping it on a winder isn't necessary and is just adding the frequency it will need a service. If you are rotating through pieces should be fine.

so if needing to store and not using a winder, it is best to pull out crown to stop watch or better to allow it wind down to stop for longer storage?

If you are leaving it long enough that it would run down, then let it in down...

The challenge I have is my Seamaster has about a 48 hr reserve and to set the date I need to cycle 11-12. So a winder seems to be a good option as I don't wear it every day.

I got a Rapport one purely because one of my Speedmasters is automatic and has a date and Moonphase function and it is just easier to keep it going. I wouldn't entertain one for Watches with less complications.

Looks like something NASA uses to train their astronauts.

I use Wolf winder. The meridian system lets u expand and stack in sets of 3 all running off a single A/C adaptor. Have other storage cases that can integrate as well.

Kunstwinder has some awesome watch winders. In their website https://www.kunstwinder.com/ you can see them in action. Most of their models take two watches, and they support most rotation settings. I have one at home and is a great conversation starter. This is a video of their latest model.

I bought the Versa (round) winder on Amazon for $50 and it’s been reliable and silent. It’s a one watch winder - perfect for my 2-watch rotation.

Super convenient vs winding / setting the time / setting the date all the time.

I can't help but stare at it.
