My mother-in-law likes wearing tiny watches, similar to Canuck's wife.

Sadly, my wife is watchless.

My wife has the same one but in rose gold with diamond minute markers and leather strap. Thing gets magnetized twice a week. Idk what she鈥檚 doing with it at work. Drives me nuts

Does she work as an MRI technician? Nuclear weapons specialist? Particle accelerator operator? 馃槤

More of my wife鈥檚 favourites. Two more 60s vintage 14-karat Omegas, a 14-karat 1920s vintage diamond set Gruen, and a 14-karat Bulova (that used to be a disaster of a Benrus). She is currently wearing a dainty Seiko Lassale quartz which I picked up for free. Her 30-year old Rolex Lady Date-Just currently shelved awaiting parts. And oh! So many more, but this is all for now.

My wife like smaller watches. She has a pair of Datejusts and a pair of Tag Heuer quartz watches (Alter Ego and 2000 series), all in the smaller size

My wife seems to prefer 34-38mm. She says it's too hard to read the time on small watches.

Ms Guwipa prefers the tiny ones but mostly favoured is a 18k Sapphette (Diameter 18mm) that was on her wrist at the time I took the picture 馃榾

Hmm not sure, how big is a Fitbit? I offered to get her a constellation for her birthday, she prefers the Fitbit

I was first taken by the small embellishments around the equally small watch
Faces. The size of the lettering and the numerals begs the question...How on earth can you clearly read these day after day on the run with most likely a clutch
Of children in tow?
Both Ladies wore eyeglasses. Hmmm....

I still pause ever so briefly to read my Speedy.

It's simple. Females are by nature, able to hyperfocus into anything sparkly and shiny within their peripheral. Put some precious stones around the face and she can even read 1/10th of the second on her micro de Ville.

Damn, those of us here who like vintage toolwatches might not be very female then? @connieseamaster what do you think?

PS edit / add: interesting that your avatar and name suggests a female profile. Are you a female in hiding professing chauvinist male opinions?

and @JohnnyRocket

What misogynistic nonsense. I've been telling time via analog watches since 1990 and have yet to wear a single watch anyone one would consider "sparkly". That includes a Ladymatic with a 10mm dia case. Take your attitudes back to the 1950s where they belong, please.

Well said! As a matter of fact, this deserves attention from the moderators. The only reason I鈥檓 waiting to report it is to give everyone time to see this shameful exchange and our replies to it.

Based on the avatar and the name, might this post perhaps have come from a female? Having pi$$ed off the masses with a tenth post might be a new record!

I wasn't aware my wife wears a watch. Had my mind on other things.
