@ulackfocus hit many of the jewelry and pawn shops in the areas you mentioned ... nearly picked up a little c-case connie, but it was a bit polished and left it behind. can't wait to go back sometime.

lived there for 18 years, govberg is hit and miss, one salesperson wouldn't show me a watch but the manager did (Skydweller) and was really helpful and knowlegeable. Worked with TNS Jewelers on the Row for awhile and tony is still a friend. He has some unique pieces but has moved into the diamond world more than watches. Glad you enjoyed it! By the way Sam Kalter is my watchmaker of choice, if someone can restore the working order of a UG tiricom day date month moon, they are skilled in my book!

Oh yea, there is a Govberg's on Jewelers Row. They have an Omega watchmaker there. He formerly was an independent who did Omega authorized service before they stopped using independents. He is a whiz with Speedmasters and has a ton of c321 experience. Manual. His wife Christine works the front of the shop. Tell them I sent you - Rich with all the speedys.
