Hi all,

I’m currently looking for a watch roll. Should be able to hold 3-4 watches. Preferably in leather and a max price of € 500.
Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance for the help!

If you will pay 500Q for a watch roll then I’ve got a beautiful “Rollex” I want sell you. 😁

Hahaha tempting but i’ll pass 😉
Not sure, but i’ve looked at a couple of brands and it seems that the higher quality ones are easily 300+ (wolf/everest/...).

Many decent watch rolls for EUR100 and below, if you don't mind them looking a bit more rustic (which suits my vintage watches just fine)

I've found several good roll makers on Etsy for <EUR60. Made one last year from this guy. These seem quite nice too - you can always browse Etsy, and there'll be leather craftsmen willing to create a customized one for you at all price points.

You can also check out leather strap makers on Instagram - some make leather watch rolls as well. Finwatchstraps is also having a sale on rolls.

Additional info in older threads here too.

Do all of the above offer enough protection? I was more thinking about the hard shell ones.

combat-straps.com makes very nice ones, don't know what he charges for those (custom made) but his straps aren't the cheapest, however great quality.

I like the loose watch rolls. Compact and, once rolled up, offers a lot of padding. The roll you have in your pic can leave the watches flopping around.

Personally, the most important thing ,for me, about a watch roll is the lining. Make sure it has a nice soft durable lining. The ones with raw leather aren't very good. Yes, I've got both.

Really, you could get a canvas rolll but with good lining. It'll be the same as a leather one.

500 euros is a lot for such a small roll! You can find nice ones on etsy for a fraction of that.

Years back I bought a lovely nappa leather watch roll that held 6 watches but I had my doubts about it. I wasn’t keen on my watches been tightly rolled up together. It also crossed my mind as to whether me slipping the watches in and out of the roll, would over time cause wear (albeit minimal) to vintage cases, especially 18k gold cases so I opted for something else.
Although not cheap I’d certainly recommend these by Rapport ....

Some more pictures of the roll in action. It’s not a big collection, but it’s a start 😉
